Our Company
A quiet place to understand
what matters to your household.
Mekhala Capital was founded in Bangkok to fill a gap in financial learning — the space between selling products and genuinely understanding protection. We focus on that space.

Our Story
Founded from a question most of us ask too late.
Mekhala Capital came into being in 2019 when a small group of financial educators and practitioners in Bangkok noticed the same thing in their work: adults in their 40s and 50s were making insurance and protection decisions with incomplete information — not from lack of intelligence, but from lack of access to clear, unhurried explanation.
The company takes its name from Mekhala, the celestial figure of Thai mythology said to carry a crystal ball of clarity. We thought that a fitting symbol — not brilliance or certainty, but clarity. That is what we try to offer.
Our programs do not sell products. They do not distribute policies. They help learners understand the landscape of protection clearly enough to make their own considered choices — and to work more effectively with the licensed advisors in their lives.
Our Mission
To make financial protection genuinely understandable for the adults who need it most.
Clarity before complexity
We begin with plain language and build depth gradually — never overwhelming, always purposeful.
Your pace, not ours
Learning at 40+ sits alongside a full life. Our programs are designed to fit around yours, not the other way.
Education, not advice
We help you understand the field. Specific financial decisions remain yours — supported by qualified advisors you choose.
Our People
Small team, deep focus.

Our Standards
How we hold ourselves accountable.
Product-neutral content
We hold no distribution licenses and accept no referral fees. Every piece of material is reviewed to ensure it serves the learner's understanding, not a commercial outcome.
Annual curriculum review
Thai insurance regulations, product structures, and premium frameworks change. We review all course materials against current OIC guidelines each year and update where necessary.
Learner data protection
We comply with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Learner information is used only for course administration and is never shared with insurers or financial institutions.
Outcome focus, not throughput
We measure success by whether learners feel more confident in their understanding — not by enrollment numbers. Smaller cohorts allow for attentive support.
Mentor accountability
Mentor conversations in the 15-week program follow a structured framework and are reviewed periodically for quality and consistency of approach.
Clear scope of service
We are an educational body, not a financial advisor. This distinction is stated plainly throughout every program, protecting both the learner and the integrity of our work.
Our Approach
Financial literacy for the life you are already living.
Adults entering their 40s and 50s in Thailand face a particular set of financial considerations: family coverage that may have been purchased years ago without full understanding, ageing parents whose care needs are becoming visible, a horizon in which health costs begin to carry more weight. These are not abstract concerns — they arrive without announcement.
Mekhala Capital's programs are built around this reality. Each course is structured so that a working adult, someone with real demands on their time and attention, can proceed through material at a pace that allows genuine absorption. We do not celebrate speed. We do not reward completion for its own sake.
What we value in a learner is curiosity and a willingness to sit with uncertainty while it becomes clearer. That kind of learning is slower — and far more durable. The adults who have completed our programs describe the change not as acquiring new information, but as developing a new lens through which to read the decisions already in front of them.
Based in Bangkok's Ratchathewi district, Mekhala Capital serves adult learners across Thailand. Our team brings together expertise in Thai insurance regulation, adult learning methodology, and household financial planning to offer courses that are practical, plainly written, and genuinely useful.
